PTA Board
  • Executive Board Member, currently serving 6th year
  • Led the shift to in-house fundraising campaigns that both raised more money and eliminated platform fees of over 40%.
  • Applied for and received a grant to onboard a garden educator for our school campus.
  • Created community events to bring the community together outside of the classroom.

About Me

Three generations of my family have called La Mesa-Spring Valley School District home. My mom attended and worked in the district, I grew up attending our schools, and today, my three kids are proud local students. I am deeply invested in ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

I am currently serving my sixth year on Murdock Elementary PTA’s Executive Board, working alongside parents and educators to support and strengthen our school community. I led fundraising efforts that raised more than $500,000 to support educational programs and student enrichment the district could not otherwise provide. This experience has given me a firsthand understanding of both the challenges our schools face and the power of community.

As a former teacher, I understand the needs of students, families, and educators. I believe our district deserves leadership that values transparency and fiscal responsibility, while keeping students at the center of every decision. I will work to connect the realities of our school campuses with district leadership, making thoughtful, collaborative decisions grounded in integrity, accountability, and student success. I would be honored to earn your vote.
